His backyard mega-ramp, vert ramp, full pipe and obstacles on his farm in inland San Diego serves as the testing facility and incubator for what’s next. Wouldn’t it be great if all the best bits from the Girl and Chocolate skate films were collected together on one website? Well, they only bloody have been. Asphalt Anthology provides an archive of extracts from 10 videos.
While the skateboarders in the clips let their actions speak for them, the website provides information on the people who bring those actions to the screen, the cinematographers: Ty Evans, Spike Jonze, Aaron Meza and Tim Dowling.

British skate shop Bored has launched it’s latest colloaboration t-shirt, this time teaming up with work wear/street wear brand Carhartt and UK-based graphic design studio I Love Dust.
Bored was established in Portsmouth in 1997, not just as a store for people to pick up all their skateboarding goodies, but also as a base to “promote the act of skateboarding”.
The design of this shirt simply ties up a work wear theme with something close to the city’s heart, Portsmouth’s dockyard. The saying “Strong in the Arm Strong in the Head” is an old “Pompey” saying which dates back many years.

As part of the build up to last year’s Go Skateboarding Day, London was referred to as “the skateboarding capital of the world”. Obviously this is always going to be a matter of opinion but if you’ve ever wondered what the Big Smoke has to offer, now you can see for yourselves.
Presented by London institution Slam City Skates, Hold Tight London video blog has been redesigned and has some great footage of skateboarding in England’s capital.
The Hold Tight London Vol. 5 film is on the site and Vol. 6 is on its way in the next week or so.

What do Kate Moss, Mike Tyson and, erm, Kermit the Frog have in common? Apparently they’re all icons that have been connected with skate store/brand Supreme. These posters of Kermit sporting a classic Supreme box t-shirt have appeared in New York’s Soho. It wouldn’t be too surprising if Supreme went down an unexpected route for its next collection, but it’s not yet clear whether the posters are genuine or just the work of an imaginative artist making a nod back to those Kermit Klein posters.

Update: There’ve also been sightings of the poster in London’s Soho, not a million miles away from Supreme stockist The Hideout. In fact, the posters were put up by the store to promote the upcoming collection. Expected London drop date next Saturday (8th March).
Update 2: This is official. It’s a fashion shoot by Terry Richardson for Japanese magazine Eyescream, pictured below.
(not another) Update 3: Colette in Paris is hosting an exhibition of Terry Richardson’s pics of Kermit for Supreme from March 3rd. Pics from the collection below.
