British skate shop Bored has launched it’s latest colloaboration t-shirt, this time teaming up with work wear/street wear brand Carhartt and UK-based graphic design studio I Love Dust.
Bored was established in Portsmouth in 1997, not just as a store for people to pick up all their skateboarding goodies, but also as a base to “promote the act of skateboarding”.
The design of this shirt simply ties up a work wear theme with something close to the city’s heart, Portsmouth’s dockyard. The saying “Strong in the Arm Strong in the Head” is an old “Pompey” saying which dates back many years.

MAJOR DC is known for their innovative New Era designs and execution on fitteds. With the recent release of the MAJOR x New Era EQT Pack & MAJOR x adidas EQT Hi, which came through with an unreal and never-before-attempted rendition of the Washington DC Metro map in satin on the fitted’s interior, they continue to improve and create instant classics. But this post focuses on two New Eras that are slated to release later this spring/summer. Matching with some yet to be seen shoe releases? Time will tell… (more…)

Due to its nature, not all news can be good. In fact, some can be downright distressing. None so much than the news that Footpatrol, London’s finest sneaker boutique, is closing at the end of the month.
SB heads will at least remember the shop as the launch pad for the London City Dunks and, at most, as one of the friendliest places to pick up exclusive and carefully selected kicks.
Following Slammin’ Kicks and Bond, Footpatrol is the latest shop of its kind to vacate London’s Soho as specialist stores are becoming as rare as the products they used to stock in the pre-Internet heydays.
All is not lost, however, with the spirit of FP living on in its sterling collaborations which will continue to be developed and made available through The Hideout and Covent Garden’s Stussy store.
Rest in peace, Footpatrol. We will miss you.
