Isn’t it funny how as soon as one person mentions that a shoe might have been scrapped, forumites seem come out of the woodwork and crawl over each other to confirm the rumour. Well, looks as if they are all wrong (as if that wasn’t obvious).
Reputable information about these shoes has been released from pretty much opposite sides of the globe. Pictures have surfaced on the Colmilludo blog, while Scottish SB account holder Focus confirmed they are getting a grand total of 6 pairs. And, if for some reason you’re still dubious, more pics have surfaced in Crooked Tongue’s news section. And you don’t get much more legit than that.
Despite appearances, the one-time possibility of being a Japan-only release and a fair few internet rumours, there is no link, official or otherwise, with Medicom and these shoes.
As with all “special” SB releases, there is no concrete release date but they are coming. Just keep an eye on the forum and your local SB stockist.

It actually says “and this shoe, by all accounts, the fifth Medicom installment”. The inclusion of “by all accounts” means that no official link to Medicom has been made. Yet.

yeh they like Pee Wee lows except totally different, firstly they are Low’s and we know how much peeps prefer Low’s, secondly they are a totally different material (except panel) and 3rd they are a different colour, 4th they have a different colour sole, 5th they have NO red in them . . . . . im disappointed. the suede on the heel completely defeats the purpose of the goretex. this is a pretty contradictive shoe. its plain which is nice but nobody should be calling these “heaters.”
