possible…. he IS mexican…… his mask doeas contain some patent leather….

his dad ( the original ray misterio , hence the ‘jr”)…. was a well known wrestler in mexico…..

also JR was really known and loved in mexico before he came to the states….

if these are mexico only then……

is it really necessary to have some name for these or someone/something it represents already, i like that fade business going on

after reading all those comments in the other thread, I think these will def. get hyped.. I went to the website for Shelter and they seem to have alot of sneaks, but I didn’t see these on the website; only on that blog that showed the store. I dunno, some say customs, others say Mexico exclusives. I think it’s strange that we (in the US) didn’t get ANY type of info on these. C’mon now, we know about sneakers months if not a year ahead of time… so why not these? I’m just waiting to find out more. I’m not really a fan though.

You guys are fags… Try thinking movie from the early 80’s, from Spielberg, Drew Barrymore was very young, and it eventually turned into a ride at Universal Studios. And the heel logo is a milkcrate/basket, something you might attach to your handlebars if you were going to ride your BMX bike across the sky..

These shoes are based on the Kuwahara bike from 1982 in the movie E.T. (GOOGLE IT!) also the back has the design of the basket that E.T. rode in that famous scene.
Anyways, it would make sense that these are Mexico exlusives because in recent year, Mexico had the biggest mass sighting of UFO’s in its capitol. It caused many people to become believers as the movie did one in the same. (GOOGLE THAT TOO!)
If you want a pair I have called shelter and the refuse to send to the United States or any part of Mexico for that matter. It has to be an IN STORE PICK UP ONLY!!!!!!!! (for what they say is their “store politics” in an e-mail. I recieved.

by the way the biggest UFO sighting in history was on July 11, 1991 with over a 100 seperate videos of them in Mexico City.

That has got to by why these are related to E.T. and Mexico Exclusives… but i could be wrong. (it a good point tho)
